For centuries religion has pictured the Angels as two winged delicate females or as semi naked harmless babies. Coming from a Catholic background I have seen many like paintings adorning the walls of church buildings and books etc, not that I am at all anti Catholic in any way as many if not all are also fellow born again believers in the same Lord and Saviour, Jesus who also display a far more Christ like attitude than I at times. Jesus didn't call us to uniformity but to unity, John 17: "And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one." I now see such images covering many of the Christian web pages I come across. Come with me on a short investigative journey through the pages of the Bible to see how Gods Word portrays these awesome messengers of our Sovereign God.
